About Neuroderm
We started because the label kept lying.
Not illegally. Just in the ordinary way an industry lies: an active listed second-to-last in the ingredients, a percentage that appears nowhere, a study on one molecule cited for a formula that contains a trace of it.
Neuroderm is a cosmetic skincare company built on a narrow discipline: publish the concentration of every active, formulate to a mechanism rather than a marketing theme, and refuse to claim anything the product cannot do.
The name is not decoration. Skin is densely innervated and constantly signalling — the ingredients that measurably change how it looks are the ones that participate in that signalling rather than sitting on top of it. That is what a peptide is: a short chain that reads as a message. It is why retinaldehyde outperforms retinol at a lower percentage, and why a ceramide, cholesterol and free-fatty-acid blend at 3:1:1 behaves differently from the same three lipids in the wrong proportion.
Sixty-one products sounds like a lot for a company with that philosophy. It is fewer than it looks: ten categories, four or five formulas each, one job per formula. We would rather make a dedicated gel-cream for oily skin and a dedicated rich cream for dry skin than one “universal” moisturizer that suits neither.
Four rules we do not break
Every concentration is published
If a percentage is not on the product page it is because the ingredient is below a level worth claiming — in which case we take it out rather than list it for the label.
Fragrance-free, throughout
Fragrance is the most common cause of contact reactions in cosmetics and adds nothing to how a formula performs. Not one product in the range contains it, including the body and hand care.
Cosmetic claims only
Our products change how skin looks. They are not drugs and we will not imply they are. Where a result comes from a consumer perception study, we say so on the page.
No subscription traps
Every order is a one-time purchase. No auto-ship, no membership, no cancel-by-phone-only. If we ever launch a repeat-delivery option it will be opt-in and cancellable in one click.
Made and filled in the United States
Every formula in the range is manufactured and filled in the US under cGMP conditions, in batch sizes small enough that nothing sits in a warehouse long enough to matter. Cruelty-free. Vegan formulas throughout.
